Blossom.
Regular followers of this blog will know that I am clueless when it comes to identifying plants and trees! There is a lot of trees bearing these gorgeous blooms to be seen whilst walking down the Wolverhampton Lock Flight. Most are quite high up, so I was looking closely to find some at a suitable height to photograph when I came across this specimen. Camera lens opened up wide to capture the blossom and blur the background.
I also used the full telephoto capabilities of the lens to enhance the effect. The cloudless blue sky adds to the contrast.
