Bournemouth Gardens Silhouettes.
Like many places, it has been foggy all day today. Having been busy as well, it was not until this evening I was able to take my camera out for a walk. It was so foggy I couldn’t even see the lights on the Pier until I was almost on top of it!
I had a couple of ideas. I want to get a photograph of the Bournemouth Odeon before it closes. Although I got a reasonable shot, I will return and try again another day. It was in the Bournemouth Gardens that I got my inspiration.
Presumably because of the fog, there were not many people around in the Lower Gardens. However, I spotted a lone walker, and took a test shot. The idea was good, but I just needed a bit more interest in the view.
I was limited in the particular part that I was in, as some of the lights were out. However, I noticed that the trees on the entrance to Bournemouth Gardens from the Square were lit up. I have had it in mind to capture this at some point for this blog.
It wasn’t long before some people came along (thanks partly to a footpath closure for the building that will house the new Odeon Cinemas), and I was able to take tonight’s photograph of the day.
