First Snow this Morning.
This came as a bit of a surprise today! I had taken the dog out for the morning necessities. The sky was clear and blue. Half an hour later came the first snow of the season!OK, so it wasn’t much. It didn’t last long either. But, it was something that needed to be photographed. So back out with the camera. It has settled on the towpath, giving a nice wintry feel to the shot.
There are a few fairly large flakes falling, and the sky is now that dark grey that goes with wintry weather. There is the last vestiges of the sunrise visible in the distance.
It was minus 1 outside but, with the coal fire lit, it was nice and warm inside! This may be the first snow this winter, but more is promised. Hopefully more photographic opportunities.
