Derwent 6.
One of the great things about living a nomadic lifestyle on the canal is that you don’t know when you might meet friends! Today we met up with fellow boaters on Derwent 6.As it happens, it was in the Rugby area that we first came across their boat. However, it was not until we were heading down the Grand Union towards London that we first met them.
We shared a good few locks with them as we journeyed towards the capital. This is one of the nice things about the wide canals. You can share locks, and get to know fellow boaters.
It’s been three years since we last saw them. It was great to catch up with them. No doubt we will see them again on the network.
