Jordans Bridge.
Having not gone out during the day, it was tonight’s dog walk that led me to this photograph. It was a scene I had noticed before the clocks went forward, but hadn’t had chance to capture. So, knowing I was running late today, I decided to take camera and tripod, walk down the locks and survey the scene. I was not disappointed, and I am very pleased with the way this shot of Jordans Bridge on the Wolverhampton Flight.
Even though it is still an industrial scene, nature has reclaimed the land to the left. Behind the hedge used to be the main railway line into the Low Level Station, with a considerable amount of sidings and busy industry being served by the railway.
