Junior Dog Agility.
This was amazing to watch. Much harder to photograph! After I managed to blag myself a good position, they changed the course layout, so my position wasn’t so good. However, I lined up on this particular jump and manually focused the camera. Then, it was just a case of waiting for the approach and squeeze the shutter. I feel this shot really captures the essence of the Junior Dog Agility classes. The dog is making an excellent clear jump of the hurdle. I have caught him just at the top where his motion was slowest. The young girl is valiantly guiding her charge around the course, doing extremely well after an unfortunate start. The judge can be seen in the background, keeping up with the proceedings. And it is all against the clock, which appears to be standing guard. To get anything like the shutter speed needed for this shot of the Junior Dog Agility required a high ISO setting, as the lighting was surprisingly dull.
