King Street, Wolverhampton.
Having had a little more of an explore around the city, I came across this particular street. According to the British Listed Buildings website, many of the buildings date back to the mid to late 1700s. The Old Still Inn in the foreground was built around 1751 and altered around 1880. Although some of the properties have had some rather less than sympathetic alterations, King Street, Wolverhampton still has an historic air about it.
In a city where there are a lot of modern buildings, a street like this in particularly good condition, is a breath of fresh air and a joy to behold.
