Motorbike Scrambling.
Once again, not a photograph I expected to be posting today! We saw this motorbike scrambling shortly after we left our mooring in Abingdon this morning.
We set off from our mooring, and very soon heard the sound of these bikes. This takes us back to our time in Sussex, when we attended races at Golding Barn with St John’s Ambulance.
It was fascinating to watch. The skill of these riders is something to be enjoyed. They were reaching some amazing heights on the jumps.
This photograph captures just something of the essence of the atmosphere. Savour the enthusiasm. Savour the safety, with marshalls at key points. Imagine the sound.
