Mushroom.
In one of the parks in Leamington Spa is a collection of fungi. Seeing this mushroom upside down in the grass, I thought it warranted a photograph.I like the detail in the underside. Quite why this one was uprooted I don’t know. However, it did lend itself for today’s shot.
It has obviously been harvested and abandoned for whatever reason. It is lying amongst the dead leaves, but there is also some new growth surrounding the mushroom. Weeds they may be, but I felt it provided a worthy contrast.
