Guide Dog Meeting and Greeting.
Doing a bit of PR!
Every now and again, we go and do a bit of Guide Dog Meeting and Greeting. Sometimes this is a big affair, with several dogs and owners. Other times, like today, it is just us.
We had been invited to a local college, to bring Oakley to meet some of the students with special needs. Dogs can be particularly good therapy. Oakley certainly knows how to rise to the occasion and be gentle.
A day like this is purely for the students. And the staff, who thoroughly enjoyed their “dog fix”. Bigger events are useful as fund raisers. Either way, we enjoy going out and doing our bit.
