Pickwick Crocuses.

A splash of spring colour.

After a few cloudy and miserable days, it was nice to have some sun to enjoy today. I am no expert in plants, so some research on Google was required to identify the variety! Broadwater Green is one of a number of green spaces in the Worthing area that have wonderful shows of Spring bulbs. The daffodils were still in bud, but I spotted a patch of these beautiful Pickwick Crocuses nearby.Although they were beginning to get beyond their best, I did manage a close-up of these three blooms which were basking in the sun. Just the scene we need to brighten up an otherwise miserable week.
