Hatton Locks.
The snow and ice are slowly melting. Although, there is still over an inch on the canal at this point. This is a view looking towards the top section of Hatton Locks. We had planned to cruise this today, but the ice beat us! You can see the crack in the ice caused by the boat as we attempted to moor up for the day.
This was a ten second exposure looking straight up towards the “stairway to heaven”, as the Hatton Locks have been dubbed. The light in the distance is from the CRT office.
