Vue Cinema, Newbury.
Abstract of Exterior.
Today’s shot is of the exterior of the Vue Cinema, Newbury. As a modern building, there is little of particular interest in the exterior.
However, by closing in on the logo, there is an interesting abstract. I have also tilted the camera – there is no need to always line the camera straight!
The colourful logo stands out against the rather more boring cladding. The composition is based around the bold lines, with the logo positioned towards the top and slightly to the left to enhance the visual lead in.
