Wharf Cottages, Aldermaston.
This is a very pleasant terrace just by the Swing Bridge. I have taken this shot of Wharf Cottages, Aldermaston at dusk, enjoying the shorter evenings again!
Getting out a bit earlier this evening, I have managed to catch the “Blue Hour” just about right. There were some lovely cloud formations, which have partially masked the moon, giving a misty, moody effect.
The tarmac patch on the road creates a lead in to the terrace. This is further enhanced by the plant that is trained up the left hand building. It creates an almost comic effect!
At this time of night, the road is not particularly busy. However, there has been sufficient traffic to create some interesting light trails. The lights on the barriers also add a little something. For some reason, these lights always seem to be on, even when they are in the fully upright position, as they were when this shot was taken.
